Height is used in ropes courses because of the power that it brings to an activity, and following our discussion we have taken great pains to select a very varied set of high rope elements, which are a combination of:

Pole courses come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be constructed on any site. They are impressive structures and provide a concentrated developmental area that can safely cater for large numbers of people. A Pole course can be expanded, with each additional pole adding up to 4 new elements

Of course, not all trees are suitable - they are not always just where you want, or need them!

However, trees do have some advantages.  They can reduce the total cost of the build
